Stars as Carmello. This was the second of four collaborations between Vaughan and director Herbert Wilcox.

Much of the film was shot on location in Catalan Bay, Gibraltar , as well as in Hertfordshire and Surrey. Pepita ( Jocelyn Lane )

Unable to earn enough to marry his fiancée, Pepita ( Jocelyn Lane ), Carmello decides to travel to London to build a better life, promising to eventually send for her.
