King Gazel Dwargo returns to Tempest, bringing with him the disgraced former minister Vesta . Following a heartfelt reconciliation with Kaijin, Vesta is assigned to lead research and development for the nation.

Gabiru and his loyal followers also arrive in Tempest, seeking to serve Rimuru. Rimuru officially names them, leading to some of them (notably Gabiru’s sister) evolving into more humanoid forms.
