The story follows the Phantoms as they stage a supernatural heist to get their gear back from the Greasers, while Julie has to convince her dad that the strange "clanking" sounds in the garage are just "aggressive plumbing."
During the concert, the "glitch" that usually makes the boys visible to the audience starts to flicker. To keep them from disappearing mid-set, Julie has to use her late mother’s old metronome—which turns out to be an anchor for spirits.
