After inheriting the estate, the resident ghosts—ranging from a caveman to a disgraced 1990s politician—attempt to scare the couple away. This culminates in the ghost Julian pushing Alison out of a window. Following a two-week coma and a near-death experience, Alison returns to the house only to find she can now see and hear every ghost on the property. The first series consists of six episodes:
