In the ensuing chaos, she is taken hostage by two inmates, Klay and Ruger, who lock her in their cell—not just to keep her as a captive, but to protect her from the other violent prisoners.

The story features a "Why Choose" dynamic where Wendy forms a relationship with both Klay and Ruger.
